(Der Ring der Nibelungen). A stage festival play for three days and preminary evening - sometimes called a tetralogy; by Wagner; libretto by the composer, based on the Nibelung Saga; premiered at the Bayreuth Festspielhaus on August 13, 14, 16, 17 1876.
The four parts music-dramas are: Das Rheingold, Die Walkure, Siegfried, and Gotterdammerung.
