Palacio de Ballas Artes(Spanish for Palace of Fine Arts) is the premier opera house of Mexico City.
The Theater is used for classical music, opera and dance, notably the "Bail Folkorico".
The distinctive feature of the theater is its stained glass. It was built between 1904 and 1908, but due to various problems, the building was completed in 1934 and the sqaure was completed in 1994..
