(Bottom) Kerogli (A Blind Man's Son) - opera by Uzeyir Hajibeyov, premiered in Baku, 1937. It is based on Azerbaijan folk legend, th4 hero overthrows the khan who has been exploiting of people. The music score is extroadinary and hailed as Hajibeyov's masterpiece.
